Tell us a little about yourselves and what is unique about you and your relationship?
Holly - Jack’s as a physio, a mad mountain biker and best known for his marginal slow cooked meals… I’m a HR partner, homebody and Jack’s most annoying patient. Hanging out with our friends and family is by far our fav hobby.
Together we’re into the odd winter ski trip, summer boat sessions and are currently on the hunt for a decent XR100 and CRF250 (if you’ve got either…get in touch). Jack and I first met when we were 15. Jack claims I was out of his league so in order to hang out with me he’d have to be a great friend. After 10 years the friend zone got ditched and on Friday the 20th of November, we got hitched!
Talk us through your special day.
Because of the 2020 c-word, we rethought our wedding plans and decided to split our guest list in two. After our mid-morning ceremony (which was also lived streamed) we moseyed around to Akarua Wines & Kitchen by Artisan for lunch with our closest family and friends. At 3 o’clock the ‘after party’ began at Jack’s family home. There we celebrated with the rest of our guests.

Describe the setting, the styling and some of your favourite details.
Holly - I had a really clear vision of styling from the get-go. I loved the idea of floral clouds and wanted to create contemporary but playful spaces for our guests to hang out in. Outdoor games were a must, the golf green and badminton court went down a treat.
